Charity Ball is an event where Service League Associates, family members and friends gather together to celebrate the history and traditions of Service League. They do so by honoring Service League women’s children who are graduating high school. The festive evening includes the presentation of each senior (focusing on their individual achievements and goals), and also highlights the contributions of his/her Associate mother or grandmother.
The annual Service League of Green Bay SLGB (Student’s Learning to Give Back) Scholarship is given to one eligible student, in recognition of their outstanding service to the community. The applicants for this grant average more than 200 hours dedicated to volunteerism! It is a great source of pride for our organization to recognize the many ways our Associates continue to carry out our mission to serve others, and Charity Ball is a very important part of that.
