What We Do
Service League’s largest project is the Back to School Store, which takes place every August. This event provides over 1,500 children all the items they need to start the school year off on the right foot. Each student receives a new backpack, new school supplies, a new outfit and shoes, a dental screening and, most importantly, renewed self confidence. Click on the link above to learn more!
Other Service League projects include our Basics Programs: Basics for Babies, Basic Necessities and Teens for Independent Living. The Basics Programs are a more specific way in which we help the children of Brown County because they are tailored to three specific age groups, each with their own unique needs. If you would like to learn more about any of these projects, please click the links above or contact us!
The charitable work Service League provides is made possible through the time and effort of our Board of Directors and our general membership, as well as our fundraising efforts. Our largest fundraiser, Service League presents… is held each spring and is open to the public. Guests are invited to bid on silent and live auction items, dine on delicious food and enjoy the themed entertainment for the evening. This event provides much of the funding needed to support the Back to School Store as well as our other projects. Please consider joining us at this year’s fundraising event!
